Unnumbered sparks

Unnumbered Sparks” (title referring to a quotation from Shakespeare’s ‘Julius Caesar’) is an interactive sculpture collaboration between sculptor Janet Echelman and creative director of the Data Arts Team in Google’s Creative Lab, Aaron Koblin. The piece, created for the  TED’s 30th annual conference, soars from the roof of a skyscraper near the Vancouver Convention Center.

The project integrates the infusion of art and technology, as both continuously evolve together: visitors are able to choreograph the artworks’  light in real time using physical gestures on their mobile devices.
