The private moon of Leonid Tishkov

A two meter moon with lamps inside, and its creator -a Moscow physician that turned into an avant-garde artist- Leonid Tishkov, travel together for the last decade, in various locations around the world, in order to illuminate cities’ rooftops, trees, rivers, straw stores, art spaces, abandoned buildings.

Tishkov believes that “the moon gives fairytale and poetry in our prosy and mercantile world.”
