No more dark city streets?
In this very interesting article at Fast Co.exist we learn about a simple plastic panel that is able to redirect solar light down into dense urban streets.
Designed in Egypt, the panel doesn’t use any additional energy and can achieve between 200 and 400% of light depending on the time of the year. The panel was inspired by Cairo’s dense street network but could this be a solution for high density developments all over the world?
