Moon Dust by Spencer Finch

Moon Dust (Apollo 17), created for the 2009 Venice Biennale by Spencer Finch represents visually the precise chemical composition of moon dust, that was analyzed on the Apollo 17 mission in 1972. Each light bulb stands for a different atom, the smallest ones represent Oxygen and the large bulbs standing for heavier atoms such as Iron and Chromium.
