Dandelion Light Field

Creatmosphere created a stunning field of Dandelions Lights that flew between 5-10 meters in the air during the UK’s first dedicated Night Run in Northampton. The 1 and 1.20 meter diameter, wireless controlled helium spheres, tethered on an illuminated stem has been designed to be reactive, where the colors and the patterns of light across the field respond to the wind. Creating a large field of giant illuminated flowers, the installation covered a 8000m2 park space flying 10 meters in the air producing a large-scale dynamic visual spectacle responding to the local conditions.
